First, we would like to say thank you for supporting our Greek American Festival. It was a great success. (From what we hear!š) We received photos and videos of the dancers and family. A few food pictures too! We are looking forward to joining all of you next year!
My sister Cindy and I are starting a team for Toledo’s “Light the Night” walk for Leukemia and Lymphoma! We would like to invite you to join our team for the walk! The night walk is October 22, 2017 at 5:00 pm at The Seagate Convention Center downtown. Of course our team name is Greek Fighting Orange and my sister, Cindy, is the team captain.

9/12/2017 Changes!
We had a visit to the clinic today, blood work and doctor appointment. Chris’ blood counts continue to go up. Two things going up that we DON’T want to go up is his potassium and his creatine. The creatine levels can hurt his kidneys. His doctor decided that we need to change some of his medicine. I’m glad we are trying something else because drinking water wasn’t helping much. My honey is tolerating liquids a little better, but food continues to be a bit of a problem. He decided he was just going to drink 4 Ensures a day. Then whatever he can eat will be a bonus. His spirits are improving too. I’m so thankful for that because it has been hard to watch this guy that didn’t ever stop just struggling to eat, drink and move.
Our fig tree is about to give us, what looks like, some of the best fruit ever! The figs are green and small during the summer then they start to plump up this time of the year, but they are not ready until they turn a reddish brown. I’m looking forward to when my honey is “plumped up” again!

That’s the most beautiful quintet of nurses I’ve ever seen!!ššššš
