Hi Family and Friends,
I have missed writing to all of you. I’ve had some feedback that you have missed the posts as well, so I renewed my subscription and I hope to keep you all updated. Truthfully, I had hoped that my honey’s disease would be under control and I wouldn’t need to post my blog because you would all be seeing him out and about.
Things with Chris have not been great. He is still fighting, but it seems that with all he has been through the last year, (YES it has been over a year!!) he is having the hardest time now. Yes he is weaker than he was last year when he went from a seemingly “Healthy” guy to a very sick “Healthy” guy. Now with the treatments he has endured over the last year, he isn’t so healthy AND he continues to need chemo treatments AND he is struggling with more health problems.
As you may know, leukemia is a blood disease HOWEVER Chris’ leukemia has decided to make masses in his body. One has been removed, which is how we know it is still his leukemia, the other cannot be removed. Thus the chemo treatments and possibly radiation treatments in the next month or two. You might be thinking “Does this NEVER end?”, I’ve asked myself this time and time again. What has been the hardest part for him lately is the pain from this mass that can’t be removed. He is taking pain meds but then he feels better, so he might miss a dose or try to stretch the doses out a bit, which has proven to not be the best thing to do.

It’s never easy but we endure even when we think we can’t get through another day. You & Chris are fighters and with God’s help, you WILL endure. Just think of all the people who love you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
