We get to go home!!!! About a month earlier than we had expected! The power of prayer is awesome! We will never know how many prayers were said for Chris and I, but we are so thankful for each and every one of them. Chris still has weekly clinic appointments, so most likely we will be home 5 out of 7 days a week for the next month or so. I’ll take that for sure!
Chris’ body seems to be running with Elaine’s awesome bone marrow. We laugh because Elaine LOVES to eat salads and veggies and since Chris got out of the hospital he has been craving salads. He liked salads before but now a salad is his meal sometimes or he has a salad with his meal often. π As long as he doesn’t start menopause I’m good! π
Obviously he still has quite a way to go. My honey will have another bone marrow biopsy the first part of December. He will also be monitored closely for two years. I’m praying for a all clear after his biopsy! Won’t that be a awesome Christmas present? I can’t think of anything better. Can you believe I just mentioned Christmas? Where does time go?
Hope to see everyone of you soon! π€π€π€π€π€
